Today we went to two lakes in Hokkaido, Shikotsu Lake and Toya Lake.
It was an autumn trip organized by HUISA (Hokkaido University International Student Association), who also organize several other trips (summer or spring trip).
It was a bit late actually, since most leaves have passed their best autumn color and start falling. Yes, winter is about to come to our lovely island, and it will then keep white and snowing for the next 6 months. Yes, it is always a long freezing winter here, sub-Arctic island it is.
Since I have nothing to share, let me share these snapshots, just a post to share another color of Hokkaido 🙂
Here are some snapshots I am having today, and as I said, they are not the ‘most beautiful’ autumn leaves anymore..
Here we go..
Frankly, it is just another trip, not special at all. It was just a stress-releasing moment since we are on the middle of out hectic term of research, study and japanese course..
So these are some snapshots of our HUISA autumn trip. I will share another snapshots from other beautiful places, either in Hokkaido, or other part of Japan, or probably, other countries I am about to visit.
Until then, let’s enjoy this warm weather before welcoming the blizzard of Sapporo
